NSW & QLD State Wave Riding Championships
Lennox Head 27th and 28th with reserve day the 29th October 2007

The third annual Lennox Head kite surfing “wave” championships are set to go again on the 27th and 28th of October with Monday the 29th October a “reserve day” in case of no wind.

Wave riding is the main focus of the weekend, with the event being used as a qualifier for NSW and QLD competitors to enter the wave nationals to be held at Port Macquarie NSW for a second year. Wednesday 6th - Sunday 10th February 2008.

$$ Real prize money – Place getters in each division will share in over $1200 of cash and trophies, everyone else will go into the draw to win prizes from the mountain of prizes on offer. All competitors will receive a competitor’s pack including a T-shirt and macadamia nuts!

A freestyle session judged by a panel of riders will be run and prizes will be awarded.

A big air competition is also on the agenda to impress the public with big prizes to match! 

A “Mambo style” free barbeque for competitors from 8.30 am to 2.00 pm both days and then a GALA SPIT ROAST DINNER for competitors on Saturday night at the Lennox Head Surf Club .
Free drinks will be provided as well for competitors from various sponsors.

Registration fees are: $40.00
All competitors must be members of AKSA and or its affiliated state or local associations. You can download membership forms from this website, the AKSA or NSWKBA web sites.
